The Skimmie Sock Lock is a removable handle that allows you to utilize the benefits of a skimmer sock.  With a simple quarter turn, you can lock and unlock the Sock Lock to and from your skimmer basket.  The Sock Lock is also weighted to help sink the skimmer basket so that when the pump turns off, the Sock Lock holds the skimmer sock down preventing debris from floating out.

Exactly what you see!

I saw this on Facebook and ordered it ASAP. I hade been looking for a way to use the skimmer socks but still have a handle so I didn’t have to stick my hand down in the basket amongst the bugs. Only thing I would change is the bottom portion of the system to be heavier to weigh down the basket. Mine will float occasionally but I have been using the original weight from the skimmer basket and rocks.
